What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant because the Tenant failed to meet a condition specified in the order issued by the Board on August 30, 2021 with respect to application TNL-31788-21. The condition was that the Tenant shall keep their dog restrained and controlled ensuring that it does not jump or lunge at others in the common areas and on the grounds of the residential complex. On November 30, 2021, the Tenant's dog, while not being controlled, jumped at and struck another tenant in a common area of the residential complex.

The ruling

The tenancy between the Landlord and the Tenant is terminated. The Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before January 24, 2022. If the unit is not vacated on or before January 24, 2022, then starting January 25, 2022, the Landlord may file this order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) so that the eviction may be enforced.
