What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent and for causing undue damage to the rental unit. The Landlord also applied to terminate the tenancy for the purpose of personal use.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective January 17, 2022. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $4,292.70 plus $25.64 per day starting January 7, 2022 until they vacate the unit. The Tenants must also pay the Landlord $1,192.15 for the damage to the rental unit. If the Tenants pay $4,881 on or before January 17, 2022, the eviction order will be void and the tenancy will continue.
