What happened

Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's wilful or negligent damage to the residential complex, including breaking down the door to the mechanical room and regularly storing garbage and personal items throughout the complex.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective November 9, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $543.87 for the costs of repairing the damage, $26.63 per day for use of the unit from October 29, 2021 until move-out, and $186 for the application fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by November 9, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
