The ruling

The tenancy is terminated as of September 30, 2020, the date the Tenant vacated the rental unit. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $1,120.49, which represents the rent arrears less the rent deposit, and $201.00 for the application filing cost. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by December 11, 2021, they will owe simple interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
