What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet certain conditions specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must move out by January 29, 2022. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $3,159.07, which includes the remaining rent arrears and application fee from the previous order, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. The Tenant must also pay $63.62 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting January 1, 2022 until the Tenant moves out.
