What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant because the Landlords have entered into an agreement of purchase and sale of the rental unit and the purchaser requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective May 31, 2021. The Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before May 31, 2021. The Tenant shall pay the Landlords $186.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owing by May 31, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the balance outstanding starting June 1, 2021. If the unit is not vacated by May 31, 2021, the Landlords may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction starting June 1, 2021.
