What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to the Tenant committing an illegal act (assault) in the residential complex. The Landlord also claimed compensation for each day the Tenant remained in the unit after the termination date.

The ruling

The Tenant is ordered to pay $1,333.86 to the Landlord, which includes compensation for the use of the unit and the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not vacate by July 30, 2022, the Landlord may file for eviction enforcement.
