What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board on January 24, 2020 with respect to application TSL-11270-19.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 16, 2020. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $1,480.00 for rent arrears up to May 31, 2020 and the costs related to the previous application, plus $24.16 per day for compensation for the use of the unit starting June 1, 2020 to the date the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owing by August 16, 2020, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the balance outstanding.
