What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to undue damage to the rental unit and use of the unit inconsistent with residential purposes. The Tenants had vacated the unit prior to the hearing.

The ruling

The Tenants are ordered to pay the Landlords $1,745 for the cost of repairing damage to the rental unit and $186 for the application filing fee. If the full amount is not paid by April 3, 2021, the Tenants will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
