What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord also claimed administration charges related to NSF cheques. The Tenants did not attend the hearing.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 11, 2022, unless Tenants void the order by paying the full amount owing. Tenants must pay $6,427.87 plus $52.24 per day from February 1, 2022, until they move out. If full payment is not made by February 11, 2022, the Landlord may file for eviction enforcement.
