What happened
Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenant to pay the rent that the Tenant owes. The Landlord also claimed administration charges related to NSF cheques.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated as of June 28, 2021, the date the Tenant gave vacant possession of the rental unit to the Landlord. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $499.00 in rent arrears and $201.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by February 28, 2022, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
