What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenant to pay the rent that the Tenant owes. The Tenant did not pay the total rent the Tenant was required to pay for the period from April 1, 2021 to April 30, 2021. The Tenant vacated the rental unit on April 30, 2021.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $661.86 for the rent owing up to April 30, 2021, and $201.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by December 6, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
