What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as per a previous order. The Tenant did not meet the condition to pay $995 by March 15, 2020 as specified in the previous order.

The ruling

The previous order SOL-11522-19 is cancelled and replaced. The tenancy is terminated effective August 16, 2020. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $2,980 for rent arrears and application fee, plus $39.45 per day in compensation starting April 2, 2020 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by August 16, 2020, the Landlord can file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement.
