What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet the conditions specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 23, 2020. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $35.94, which includes rent arrears and the previous application fee, less the rent deposit and interest. The Tenants must also pay $58.80 per day in compensation for use of the unit starting August 24, 2020 until they vacate.
