What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord served a Notice of Termination effective May 26, 2021. Tenants failed to pay rent from April 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021 and made no payments since the application was filed.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective January 16, 2022. Tenants must pay $18,719.82 plus $74.14 per day starting January 6, 2022, to the Landlord. If Tenants pay $22,736.00 by January 16, 2022, the eviction order will be void. If not paid, the Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting January 17, 2022.
