What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's failure to meet a condition specified in a previous mediated settlement, which required the Tenant to pay $100 in arrears by November 1, 2020.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must vacate the unit by January 19, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $537 in rent arrears and application fees, plus $15.81 per day in compensation for use of the unit starting January 9, 2021 until the Tenant vacates. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by January 19, 2021, interest will accrue at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
