What happened

The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's failure to pay rent as per the previous order issued by the Board on February 19, 2020.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must move out by October 9, 2020. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $1,443.19, which represents the rent owing up to September 28, 2020 and the costs related to the previous application. The Tenant shall also pay the Landlord $11.51 per day for compensation for the use of the unit starting September 29, 2020 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owing by October 9, 2020, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
