What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet a condition specified in a previous mediated settlement.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective February 12, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $3,329.95 (less any amount paid after the application was filed) for rent arrears and costs. If the Tenants do not pay by February 12, 2021, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance. If the unit is not vacated by February 12, 2021, the Landlord can file the order with the Sheriff to enforce the eviction.
