What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant did not attend the hearing despite proper notice. The Landlord served a valid N4 Notice, which the Tenant did not void by paying the arrears.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant voids the order by paying $22,337.02 by November 19, 2022. If not voided, the Tenant must vacate by November 19, 2022, and pay $18,853.16 plus $25.58 per day from August 3, 2022, until move-out. The Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting November 20, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
