What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as specified in a previous order. The Tenant failed to pay rent in the amount of $1,800 on or before April 1, 2021 and arrears of $500 on or before April 20, 2021 as required by the previous order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective May 21, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $4,558.60 plus $59.18 per day from May 11, 2021 until the Tenant vacates the unit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by May 21, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest on the outstanding balance.
