What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's failure to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board. The condition was that the Tenant was not to smoke inside the rental unit or anywhere else inside the building.

The ruling

The tenancy between the Landlord and Tenant is terminated. The Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before January 21, 2022. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $29.59 per day for compensation for the use of the unit starting January 11, 2022 until the Tenant moves out. The Landlord or Tenant shall pay any sum of money owed as a result of this order.
