What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to substantial interference, safety concerns, and wilful damage to the premises.

The ruling

The tenancy between the Landlords and the Tenant is terminated. The Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before May 31, 2023. The last month's rent deposit will be applied to the rent for May 2023. If the unit is not vacated by May 31, 2023, the Landlords may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement, and the Tenant shall pay compensation of $15.45 per day starting June 1, 2023 until the Tenant moves out.
