What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the Tenants entered into an agreement to terminate the tenancy but did not move out by the agreed upon date.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 28, 2023. The Tenants must vacate the rental unit by this date. If the unit is not vacated, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction starting March 1, 2023. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $186 for the application filing fee. If the amount is not paid by February 28, 2023, the Tenants will owe interest at 5% annually starting March 1, 2023.
