What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord served a valid N4 Notice, which the Tenants did not void by paying the arrears. The Tenants were not present at the hearing.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenants void the order by paying $35,000 (subject to LTB's monetary limit) plus application fee by November 19, 2022. If not voided, Tenants must pay $33,987.25 plus $92.05 per day from September 28, 2022, until they move out. Eviction may be enforced starting November 20, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
