What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to substantial interference with reasonable enjoyment or lawful rights of the Landlord or other tenants. The interference involved the Tenant's dog being off-leash in common areas and the Tenant bringing a bicycle into common areas and elevators.

The ruling

The Board issued a conditional order requiring the Tenant to keep their dog on a leash in common areas and not bring their bicycle into common areas or elevators. If the Tenant fails to comply, the Landlord may apply for termination and eviction within 30 days of a breach. The Tenant must also pay $190.00 for the Landlord's application filing cost.
