What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenants to pay the rent they owed. The Tenants were not present or represented at the hearing, although properly served with notice.

The ruling

The Tenants shall pay the Landlord $3,150.55, which includes rent arrears up to March 15, 2023 and the cost of the application. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by March 28, 2023, they will start to owe interest at 5% annually on the outstanding balance.
