What happened

Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to alleged wilful or negligent damage to the rental unit and for seriously impairing the safety of any person. The Landlord also claimed compensation for each day the Tenant remained in the unit after the termination date.

The ruling

The Landlord's application was dismissed. The Tenant did not violate the Residential Tenancies Act, and the Landlord's allegations were not sufficient grounds to terminate the tenancy.
