What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's failure to meet a condition specified in a previous consent order, which was to pay $3,000 towards outstanding arrears by October 15, 2021.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must move out by December 21, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $8,904.50 in rent arrears and costs, plus $59.19 per day in compensation for use of the unit starting December 1, 2021 until the Tenant vacates. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by December 21, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
