What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. Tenant disputed the amount of rent arrears and proposed a four-year payment plan, which was deemed unreasonable by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant voids the order by paying the specified amounts by the given dates. If not voided, the Tenant must vacate by March 31, 2023, and pay $10,016.89 plus $39.45 per day from January 6, 2023, until move-out. The eviction can be enforced from April 1, 2023, if the unit is not vacated.
