What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant, another occupant, or someone the Tenant permitted causing undue damage to the premises. The Landlord also applied for an order requiring the Tenant to compensate the Landlord for the damage.

The ruling

The Tenant shall repair the drywall in the kitchen and return the wall to its original state by March 31, 2022. If the Tenant does not repair the damage, the Tenant shall pay the Landlord $1,000 by April 1, 2022 to cover the reasonable costs of repairing the damaged property. The Tenant shall also pay the Landlord $186 for the cost of the application by April 1, 2022.
