What happened
Landlords applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant, who was the superintendent of the residential complex, because the Tenant's employment as superintendent had ended.
The ruling
The tenancy between the Landlords and the Tenant is terminated. The Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before August 16, 2020. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $23.34 per day for compensation for the use of the rental unit starting October 18, 2019 to the date the Tenant moves out, less any payment made towards rent for that period. The Tenant shall also pay the Landlord $175.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owing by August 16, 2020, the Tenant will start to owe simple interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
