What happened

Tenant applied for an order determining that Landlord and Landlord's Agent substantially interfered with the reasonable enjoyment of the rental unit or residential complex by the Tenant or by a member of their household, and harassed, obstructed, coerced, threatened or interfered with the Tenant. The application was resolved by order LTB-T-063497-22 (previously TNT-31792-21) issued on December 14, 2023. The Landlord requested a review of the order.

The ruling

The Landlord must pay the Tenant $3,000.00 and $48.00 for the application fee by September 23, 2024. If the Landlord does not pay the full amount by that date, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 7.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
