What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet a condition specified in a previous LTB order.

The ruling

The previous LTB order is cancelled. The tenancy is terminated and the Tenants must vacate the unit by April 7, 2023. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $10,179.96, which includes rent arrears, the cost of the previous application, less the rent deposit and interest. The Tenants must also pay the Landlord $49.32 per day for use of the unit starting March 28, 2023 until they move out.
