What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to persistent late payment of rent. The Landlords served a valid N8 notice alleging the Tenant has paid rent late 10 times from August 2021 to May 2022. The Landlords testified the rent has continued to be paid late since the application was filed.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 4, 2023. The Tenant must vacate the rental unit by this date. If the unit is not vacated, the Landlords may file the order with the Sheriff to enforce the eviction. The Tenant must pay the Landlords $186 for the application filing cost.
