What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent as per the previous order. The Tenants did not meet the conditions specified in the previous order to pay $300 towards arrears by February 15, 2023 and the full rent for March 2023 by March 1, 2023.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective May 8, 2023. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $2,158.47 plus $39.38 per day starting April 28, 2023 until the Tenants move out. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by May 8, 2023, they will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
