What happened

Landlords applied for an order requiring former tenants to pay rent arrears and damages to the rental unit. The former tenants vacated the unit on December 12, 2021.

The former tenants shall pay the landlords $16,000 for the reasonable costs to repair damage to the rental unit, and $201 for the application filing fee, for a total of $16,201. If the former tenants do not pay by July 8, 2024, they will owe interest at 7% annually on the outstanding balance.
