What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the Tenant did not void by paying the arrears. The ruling

The tenancy will be terminated on July 3, 2023 unless the Tenant pays $4,765.20 by June 30, 2023 or $5,726.60 by July 3, 2023 to void the order. If the Tenant does not void the order, they must pay $2,655.65 to the Landlord and daily compensation of $31.61 from May 26, 2023 until move-out.
