What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the Landlord requires possession of the rental unit in order to demolish the unit.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective July 31, 2023. The Tenants must move out of the rental unit on or before July 31, 2023. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction. The Tenants shall pay the Landlord compensation of $36.16 per day for the use of the unit starting June 20, 2023 until the date the Tenant moves out.
