What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Landlord also claimed charges related to NSF cheques.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $1,935.98, which includes rent arrears up to April 30, 2023, the cost of the application, and unpaid NSF charges. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by June 3, 2023, they will start to owe interest at 6.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
