What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant did not void the N4 Notice by paying rent arrears and was not present at the hearing.

The ruling

Unless the Tenant pays $17,607.99 by April 28, 2024, the tenancy will be terminated. If not voided, Tenant must pay $12,234.39 to Landlord and vacate the unit, plus daily compensation of $82.18 starting March 26, 2024.
