What happened

The Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to substantial interference with the reasonable enjoyment of the residential complex by other tenants. The primary complaints involved excessive noise from loud music and partying. The Landlord served an N5 notice, but the Tenant failed to void it by continuing the disruptive conduct during the seven-day remedy period.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective July 15, 2025. The Tenant is ordered to move out by this date. If the Tenant fails to vacate, the Landlord may enforce the eviction through the Sheriff on or after July 16, 2025. Additionally, the Tenant must pay the Landlord $186.00 for the application filing fee, with interest accruing if not paid by the termination date.
