What happened

The ruling
The tenancy was terminated effective February 12, 2024, the date the Tenant vacated the rental unit. The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $13,226.51, which includes rent arrears, damages, and the application fee, minus the rent deposit and interest. If the Tenant does not pay by April 16, 2024, they will owe interest at 7% annually on the outstanding balance.
