What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's failure to meet certain conditions specified in a previous LTB order. The Tenant failed to pay rent and arrears payments as required by the previous order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective June 4, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $2,056 plus $40.95 per day starting May 25, 2023 until the Tenant vacates the unit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by June 4, 2023, the Tenant will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
