What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's behavior causing substantial interference with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant. The Landlords also claimed compensation for the Tenant's conduct that caused damage to the property.
The ruling
The Landlords proved that the Tenant substantially interfered with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant. The Tenant failed to stop the conduct or activity within 7 days after receiving the N5 notice. The Landlords incurred $10,767.73 in reasonable costs for repairs, which the Tenant must pay. The tenancy is terminated and the Tenant must vacate by July 21, 2024. If the Tenant does not pay the amount owing by the due date, the Tenant will owe interest.
