What happened

The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant because the Tenant has been persistently late in paying the rent. The Landlord also claimed compensation for each day the Tenant remained in the unit after the termination date.

The tenancy between the Landlord and the Tenant is terminated as of August 31, 2022. The Tenant should not be ordered to pay the filing fee as the Tenant complied with the N8 notice and vacated the rental unit by the termination date.
