What happened

The landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the tenants, and for an order to have the tenants pay compensation for damage they owe because the tenants did not meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the LTB.

The ruling

The tenancy between the landlord and the tenants is terminated. The tenants must move out of the rental unit on or before May 13, 2023. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) for enforcement. The tenants shall pay the landlord $6.02 per day for compensation for the use of the unit starting May 3, 2023 until the date the tenants move out.
