What happened
The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant because the Tenant did not meet a condition specified in the mediated settlement signed by the parties on March 12, 2021 with respect to a previous application.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective June 10, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $6,422.80 (less any payments made after May 1, 2023) for rent arrears up to May 30, 2023, and $17.16 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting May 31, 2023 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by June 10, 2023, the Tenant will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
