The landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the tenants due to the tenants' failure to meet certain conditions specified in a mediated settlement signed by the parties on June 30, 2022.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective May 6, 2023. The tenants must pay the landlord $9,889.57 (less any payments made after the application was filed) and $73.86 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting April 26, 2023 until the tenants move out. If the full amount is not paid by May 6, 2023, the tenants will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
