What happened

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective May 1, 2023, and the tenants must vacate the rental unit by that date. The tenants are ordered to pay the landlord $12,044.36 (less any payments made after the application was filed) for rent arrears and the cost of the previous application, as well as $74.17 per day in compensation for use of the unit starting April 21, 2023 until the tenants move out.
