What happened

The landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the tenants for failing to meet a condition specified in a previous LTB order, which was to pay $300 towards rent arrears by February 15, 2023.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective April 14, 2023. The tenants must vacate the unit by that date. If they do not, the landlord can file the order with the Sheriff to enforce the eviction. The tenants must pay the landlord $3,303.52 in remaining rent arrears and application fees, as well as $38.67 per day in compensation from April 4, 2023 until they move out.
